LESSONS OF ITALIAN LANGUAGE AND CREATIVE WRITING - ALL A MILANO

Hello! My name is Riccardo, I am 30 years old and work as art director and screenwriter for film and advertising projects, between Milan and the rest of the world. After completing humanistic studies, I graduated in architecture at Politecnico di Milano, about six years ago. I took several creative writing courses and contributed to numerous scientific publications over the years. Language and communication have always been a passion of mine, as well as the main focus of my professional life. My love for literature started when I was about five years old: I learned how to read and I discovered the magical universe of the narration and from that moment I have always lived a double life: mine and that of the book that I was reading. My profession is telling stories! Starting from an idea and finding a way to transform it into a story - a script, a spot, a photo campaign. And it does not end here, the most complex part of my work lies in making it clear - to the public or to a client - that my story is exactly what they are looking for! For me, the knowledge and domination of the language is an instrument of power (peaceful, of course): learning to communicate, understanding the context of the words and adapting the message to the receiver is an essential part of realizing yourself - personally and professionally. I believe that the luck of individual teaching - or anyway teaching addressed to a limited group of people - consists of the fact that the methodology is not univocal and standardized, it is actually personalized. Every individual learns things differently and the interest in what is studied is the essential element for learning. Let's start with what you like, what you would like to improve. Forget the specific assignment for a moment, let's look at things by taking a few steps back. I am going to show you that loving the language and understanding the importance of communication is the first step and from there... it's all downhill! Grammar is essential, so is literature. But learning the simple principles of effective communication is even more important!
