(Originally called ULTRA PDI.) INSTRUMENT INPUT: This input is designed for all passive and active type pickup signals. When a plug is inserted, the 9V battery is switched on. INSTRUMENT OUTPUT: This is a "parallel" jack which can be used to send the "guitar/instrument signal" to an external tuner, guitar amp or other device which can use an instrument level signal. EFX LOOP: This is a real world "EFX LOOP". In an effort to save room, most of our competition uses a TRS jack (tip, ring, sleeve) and Y cable type system. The DI+ is provided with two 1/4" jacks, one for "SEND" and one for "RETURN". La Pro-ject è specializzata in ambito analogico per il quale si è sempre impegnata con ricerca e prodotti atti ad una fruizione semplice ed il più possibile economica, Nel contempo ha prodotto anche capolavori dall' ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo (giradischi). Il Phono Box II è la sintesi della filosofia aziendale.. un entry level capace di buone/ottime performance per il suo costo per un uso non eccessivamente impegnativo. Ne sono stati venduti migliaia.... Gestisce sia Magneti Mobili (MM) che Bobine Mobili (MC) ed il solo concedersi alla bassa uscita delle testine MC a costi irrisori ne fa un campione assoluto. Suona benino, ha un timbro asciutto ed abbastanza neutro con discreta estensione ed è anche abbastanza trasparente.... per un uso non eccessivamente critico è assolutamente appagante. Se avete giradischi e testine da migliaia di euro cercate altro.. Ottimo invece per chi deve ovviare alla mancanza di uscita Phono dal proprio ampli senza avere pretese High End.
