    Alfamarine 60' offers the pleasure of top level sportsmanship. High speed which can get up to 50 knots united with extreme care in details. The monohedric hull with deep “V/" up to the stern guarantees optimum sea-holding even at high speeds. The Arneson transmission facilitate the intermediate speeds and manoeuvrability in intermediate speeds and manoeuvrability in port. The stem garage can house a tender of up to 3.50 m, with electric launching system. The gangway and the bathing ladder are hideaway. Besides having a comfy sofa the ample cockpit also has a multipurpose cupboard which can be equipped with various accessories (BBQ, ice maker, etc.) upon request. The bridge which is higher than the cockpit, allows for perfect visibility. The awning, made of a special fabric, can be used during navigation even in rough sea conditions. The hull, designed for high speed navigation, does not interfere with head room. As on deck, everything inside is designed for maximum space: the dining table can be extended to seat 10 and the hideaway TV are just two of the many solutions available. We had the opportunity to test it in the waters of the Gulf of Naples in rough sea conditions with more than 15 knots of mistral. At the stern there are two platforms divided by the Suzuki DF350A Dual prop. Through a fiberglass step we are behind the C-shaped stern sofa that occupies the entire width of the boat. This solution is double-edged, since on the one hand it offers greater comfort thanks to the larger dimensions, but on the other it forces us to have to walk on the cushions (removable) in order to access on board. The free space to move in the cockpit is very limited since we have only a small rectangle that can be lifted manually to become a table or a sofa expansion. In this way an area is created where you can have lunch or simply stay with friends where they can sit up to 5 people. A few centimeters further on there is a fiberglass support which towards the stern shows a tip-up top that contains the gas stove with the sink. The presence of the stove so close to the sofa, however, makes it unusable when there is an open table. This means that it is possible to cook, and it is a great advantage for a boat of this size with this type of equipment, but at the same time we do not have many support surfaces where we can put the plates or pots if not the small steel plate that located on the left side. On the front part of the wet-bar, the cushions act as a lumbar support for the diver and co-driver. Even the lumbar support allows greater reflexes during navigation, but in the case of quiet family outings there is no support to sit on.     2009 Canados, 1. this very well maintained yacht is maintained from the beginning all year round by an experienced captain as well as an experienced board engineer. Originally the yacht was built to MCA standard (among others fire extinguishing system, double pumps for bilges, service and sewage, double generators) and had a commercial registration as a demonstration vessel of Canados. At 136 years old, she is a unique sight on the water and ashore. This boat has had several functions during her long life. Originally, the UNION IV was used as a steam turntable, equipped with a powerful 150 hp triple compound steam engine. Later she was converted to a turntable vessel with a crude oil glow head engine (ABC 60 hp) and then as a motor freighter on a fixed route with the same engine. In her next phase, she served as a motor freighter in free navigation, equipped with a 120 hp Moës diesel engine. Then the boat was transformed into a church ship sailing through Flanders, powered by a GM Detroit diesel engine of 165 hp. Finally, the UNION IV became a sailing monument, a combination living and working boat, powered by a 200-hp ABC 3MDX diesel engine. The boat has a teardrop-built hull, making her very fast and easy to maneuver. Her sailing characteristics are remarkable, as she always starts without problems and sails smoothly. She listens well to the steering system and can sail in reverse almost as fast as forward. The vessel has little propeller action in reverse. In addition, the UNION IV has a very distinctive sound, which makes her extra recognizable. The vessel is beautifully finished with many ornate details, and the riveted mast tube with the hoisting mast and two booms always attracts many spectators. One of the most memorable moments with the UNION IV is its restoration. With great pleasure the mast tube, mast, booms, the installation of the ABC engine and the new wheelhouse were restored. Per molti anni ha effettuato il servizio tra la penisola sorrentina e Capri. Fu utilizzato anche per i collegamenti tra le isole tremiti e la puglia. In seguito divenne un battello turistico.
