        . Deze prachtige Camper & Nicholsons 70 Ketch is een Raymond Wall ontwerp en werd in 1977 te water gelaten als romp nr. 8. Na oplevering zeilde haar oorspronkelijke eigenaar haar naar de Seychellen en later naar het Caribisch gebied, waar ze in 1999 werd omgebouwd. Haar dubbele motoren werden later vervangen in 2004. Haar huidige eigenaar kocht haar in 2012 en stuurde haar naar Scarlino om te worden omgebouwd door Nautor Swan scheepswerf. Haar systemen en interieur werden geüpgraded. Spirit of Sangoma is een zeer goed onderhouden jacht met een solide basis in termen van zeewaardigheid en GRP constructie. Haar centrale cockpit, dubbele motoren en gebalanceerde ketch tuig maken haar een zeer veilig en comfortabel jacht voor alle weersomstandigheden. Haar interieur bestaat uit een master cabine achter, drie dubbele gastenhutten en een dubbele crew cabine in de voorpiek. Haar salon midscheeps is verhoogd, wat zorgt voor een goed zicht rondom. Een prachtig jacht, klaar voor nieuwe eigenaren om er ten volle van te genieten. Dit is een voorlopige brochure. Algemeen Rompvorm: Rondspant GRP romp.         This 27M ketch was custom built by Trehard shipyard in Antibes, France in 1984. The collapsible hydraulic keel allows it to access beaches and ports with very low depths of water. The yacht was refitted in 2004, 2008 and 2013. This involved a total reconstruction of the interior of the boat, maintaining the original layout. The first refit in 2004 included complete renovation of the engine room (including engine, generators, fittings, pumps, etc.), installation of the most modern navigation equipment, complete renovation of the electrical fittings and plumbing, renovation of the masts and rigging, cross-trees and boom, painting and caulking of the whole boat, restructuring of the stern deck, covering the steps to the transom door and gangway, full renovation of the interior with mahogany wood, completely replaced kitchen fittings and appliances. Further refits were undertaken in 2008 and 2013 and included 14mm Burmese teak added on to the whole deck, Rondal fitted hatches, modification of the cabin and bathtub by adding space for additional comfort, simplification of the deck movements, replacing winches and deck gear, sandblasting of the aluminium, caulking and painting, reviewing of cables, cross-trees and change of boom.         Classic Alan Pape Williams Boatyard 73 Ft ketch moored in Valencia, Spain Classic design by Alan Pape, built 1977-90 - refitted in 2018 - of iroko and mahogany by the famous Williams Boatyard in Falmouth, Cornwall, UK. This top range SY represents 73 feet of pure elegany. Avrea is a classic ship built with excellent materials and a lot of workmanship. As a traditionally built wooden boat of high quality, her interior is warm in winter and cool in summer; she never has problems with damp or humidity. The building is carvel planked with 50mm Iroko on laminated 100mm Iroko frames every 300mm. The fastenings are copper rivets, and all other bolts are of stainless steel. The decks are 20mm marine ply with 20mm teak planking. The rest of the boat on deck and down below is solid Brazilian mahogany. Mast supports is galvanised steel. The keel is 8 tons of cast iron, the chain plates and all fixtures on deck are either stainless steel or bronze. Bow cabin with two beds in V-shape, followed by heads on starboard. There is a complete pantry in U-form on starboard and a cosy dinette in front of it. Further back is the enormous saloon with the main entry. The saloon has a gangway on starboard with two beds on top of each other which leads to the big owner cabin including en suite heads and a separate access to the cockpit.         Almundarvi means ‘devoted to the world’ an appropriate name for this beautiful aluminium sailing yacht. Built by the Spanish yard Astilleros Viudes designed by German Frers, the original drawings are still present. Since taking her over in 2006, the second owners have refitted Almundarvi to a high standard and moved her to Sardinia. She has been repainted, given new rigging, had an overhaul of the teak deck and fitted with a new hydraulic gangway.Engine and generator have also been brought up to date and the interior renewed. Almundarvi is ready for her new owners on a world of new adventures!

        LLC OWNED Built 1967. Extensive Retrofit from 1998 to 2019. Like New Condition.  Steel Motorsailer yachts used to be popular vessels for world sailors until the 70s. The arrival of production yachts in the 60s and the explosion of the charter industry in the following years changed the public perception of yachting. Today only a few builders offer customized options at a premium price.  Iolair Mara is a unique yacht built-in CA in the late sixties. Her ¼ inch steel hull, her tri keels design, her 5’6”’ draft, and her 3000 nm range under power will sail expeditions all around the globe or entertain charter clients in the Bahamas, HI, or Alaska.  In 1998 she was hauled out for a $ 2.5 M retrofit that was 60 % completed in 2005. A series of dramatic events follow. She was sized. Stayed 6 years on the hard shrink-wrapped. The actual owner got her out of the yard in 2012, completed the 40% remaining refit to get her to her original glory. She was lucky to have found John. It has been a perfect match for both of them. John loves a strong, well-powered world cruiser. He is now proud to offer this showcase vessel for a portion of the price it would cost to build her today.         Designed, built and maintained by the same owner from new, Clarissa is the fulfilment of a dream. The owner wanted to create a vessel in which to cruise the world and simultaneously provide an elegant and comfortable home for his family and all those onboard. The inspiration for Clarissa came from the owners many years of experience cruising worldwide and his healthy respect for the sea. Safety, seaworthiness and structural integrity were of the highest priority. The concept called for a ketch rig for ease of sail handling and the versatility of sail plans it allows,  a strong traditional construction and powerful twin Man diesels with tankage enough to cross the Atlantic, which indeed she has done. Inside we have a spacious deck saloon with generous window area, a second steering position, bar and sofa area. Ondeck is a choice of seating areas for good or bad weather, a well protected aft cockpit and helm station and large sunpads on both the coachroof and the foredeck.  Clarissa was constructed with Oak double framing reinforced with steel and then planked in 50mm Iroko. Only the best quality materials were used with the Iroko planks and Burma teak for the laid decks hand selected by the owner prior to it being purchased. The wood was then carefully dried and cut in Denmark before being shipped out to Turkey in a 40ft container. The yachts construction was completed in the traditional manner of the Turkish shipwrights and overseen by the both the owner and the Danish Marine Surveyor, Naval Architect and Yacht Designer, Arne Borghegn. All works were carried out to the satisfaction of the Danish Maritime Authority.  Although not built to Class, all dimensions on the hull including frames width and spacing, planking etc. are constructed to Lloyds dimensions for a Danish fishing vessel. Calculations for displacement, righting moment, general stability, mast placement etc were also carried out by Arne Borghegn. Sail plan, running and standng rigging were designed by a collaboration of Danish companies, Dansail for the sails, John Mast for mast and boom manufacture, Frederiksen for running rigging, car placement and again Arne Borghegn supervising all.  All stainless used for deck fittings, portlight frames, rig hardware was certified 316L and the interior wood certified Mahogany. The quality is well evident in the fantastic condition apparent today.... The owner has lavished smilar love and care on her maintenance, pulling her out of the water every year, completing a major refit in 2015, new Generators in 2017, new canvas and ice maker this year. Accommodations are for 8/10 guests in 4/5 cabins. The full beam master cabin aftmost and one crew cabin wih two bunks also aft which can also be used as a kids cabin. There is a further guest double aft to Port. Forward are two further double cabins. Crew accommodation is for 3/5 in two doubles forward and the aft cabin with bunks. All cabins are beautifully appointed with outstanding Mahogany panneling and joinery worked up and installed by the finest Turkish craftsmen. Each is served by individually controlled air conditioning and heating. All cabins are with ensuite bathrooms with separate heads and showers and also benefit from granite vanity tops and electric heads.
