Precisely because of military purposes the hull is built very strongly with many additional reinforcements, ribs and paneling much thicker than usual for this size of boats. Originally, the ship had a heavy and bulky steam engine, which in construction required a specific form. For this reason, this boat has a much higher draft and full sides, which significantly contributes to the stability of the boat.
