La zona e molto ben collegata con il centro. A pochi passi, la fermata del bus 20 che conduce al centro a trecento metri le fermate dei bus 2 e 28. A settecento metri, il capolinea della tramvia dell'ospedale Careggi e, a novecento la stazione ferroviaria di Firenze Rifredi. Il quartiere ospita il polo ospedaliero-universitario Careggi.
