Na oplevering zeilde haar oorspronkelijke eigenaar haar naar de Seychellen en later naar het Caribisch gebied, waar ze in 1999 werd omgebouwd. Haar dubbele motoren werden later vervangen in 2004. Haar huidige eigenaar kocht haar in 2012 en stuurde haar naar Scarlino om te worden omgebouwd door Nautor Swan scheepswerf. Haar systemen en interieur werden geüpgraded. Spirit of Sangoma is een zeer goed onderhouden jacht met een solide basis in termen van zeewaardigheid en GRP constructie. Na een bereisd leven en de nodige internationale avonturen, is motorjacht True North terug in Nederland, en na een grote refit en complete motorenrevisie nu klaar voor nieuwe avonturen met een nieuwe eigenaar. True North werd in 1964 te water gelaten als /"Desiderata/" en is gebouwd als jacht, in tegenstelling tot de meeste karakterschepen in dit segment. De indeling is daardoor nagenoeg ongewijzigd, zeer praktisch, en zowel geschikt voor bewoning als ook gebruik met crew of commerciële activiteiten; Een karakteristiek stuurhuis met een goed uitgeruste brug, met zicht rondom, een bijzonder ruime leefsalon op dekniveau met ensuite kombuis over de volledige scheepsbreedte en twee zijdeuren, en benendeks een eigenaarshut met badkamer in het achterschip, een motorkamer, en in het voorschip twee gastenhutten (waarvan één in gebruik als kleedkamer, maar in no time terug te veranderen naar slaaphut), en een ruime werkplaats, die in de oorsponkelijke layout in gebruik was als bemanningsverblijf en -hutten. In het voorschip bevindt zich nog een ruime berging. De buitenruimte is zowel op het brugdek als het hoofddek ronduit riant. Vanuit de brug, met twee zijdeuren, loopt men voorlangs over de portugese brug of achterlangs over het enorme brugdek. Via de binnen- of de buitentrap komt men op het hoofddek. Achterop is de geëigende plek voor een beschut ontbijt onder het verlengde dak, terwijl op het voordek de 4.20 meter RIB staat opgesteld en er desondanks een zee aan ruimte overblijft. De huidige eigenaren hebben in 2018 een zeer uitgebreide (en goed gedocumenteerde) refit laten uitvoeren op een professionele werf. Nagenoeg ieder aspect van het schip is geconserveerd, gerenoveerd, vervangen, of geupdate, maar alles met respect voor de historie en met oog voor originele details. Bijzondere nadruk lag op het bewoonbaar maken, en True North is de laatste jaren dan ook met veel plezier bewoond, met dank aan moderne techniek en goede isolatie. De nieuw geplaatste kombuis is zeer compleet uitgerust met moderne apparatuur en biedt iedere (thuis)chef de mogelijkheid flink uit te pakken. De navigatie apparatuur is, op de radar na, geheel geupdate, terwijl de brug en de aangrenzende kaartentafel/bureau en zitgelegenheid de sfeer van weleer doen herleven. Om het af te maken zijn beide motoren de afgelopen winter volledig gereviseerd met originele onderdelen door een gerenommeerd specialist; een compleet en gedetailleerd revisierapport is op aanvraag beschikbaar. Het is hierdoor niet alleen een genoegen aan boord te verblijven, er kan ook echt gevaren worden - wat de huidige eigenaren dan ook graag (shorthanded) doen. True North is voorzien van het op Europese binnenwateren verplichte certificaat van onderzoek (CVO), en is voorzien van een 4.20 Mercury Ocean Runner 420 (2018) met center console met 30 pk Mercury buitenboordmotor (2018). Het schip en haar historie is goed gedocumenteerd, en wordt geleverd met een goede overdracht door een terzakekundig eigenaar. Malu’ is a rare  and excellent example of a vintage yacht in perfect conditions. She was designed by Sparkman& Stephens and built at the highest standards under the direct survey of the RINA director of Livorno harbor. After a life as cruiser racer Malu’ received the most accurate and respectfull restoration and she is better than ever. Sailing Malu’ is just like diving in the past and her elegant lines and details are highlighted by new rigging, new sails, new engine and systems, new closets and interior furniture and new tapestry.The hull was completely emptied to provide a general refit and to protect her from the risk of osmosis (she had no osmosis anyway) the hull was treated with epoxy resin. The restoration was surveyed by one of the best known Italian expert, and in our experience of hundreds classic yachts to offer to demanding customers we have been amazed reading his survey. Original drawings available.  ACCOMMODATIONS: Malù is a very comfortable boat with elegant and functional accommodations.  3 cabins one of which with double bed,saloon, one bathroom, galley,chart table. Sleeps 5 guests in the cabin and 2 in the saloon. Description:  From the entrance to the left a cabin with single, comfortable bunk and the wide chart table. On the right the L shaped galley. After the half bulkhead there is the saloon with L shaped settee on the left side and a lifting table.A wide settee/ bunk on the right. Half bulkhead ahead there is a well type fridge with wide pantry storage and oil skins closet. The bathroom in front on the right side.  You enter now in the double cabin with separate beds with wide storage space, and the owners cabin with V shaped double bed. The anchor chain storage is ahead and reachable trough a watertight opening     RESTORATION: The boat was purchased in 2009 by the actual owner and moved by truck to the shipyard Cantieri Pier 12 in Marina di Ravenna. The plan was to make her perfect and beutifull. No energy was spared. Between 2010-13 The boat was emptied completely to  bare hull and treated with epoxy resin outside and inside. The deck was relaminated with void technology before fitting a new teak deck. New beams set under the deck and cabin. The accommodations and furniture completely restored or rebuilt where some imperfection was found. New closets, drawers, and storage spaces. d Deze klassieke zeilklipper is een prachtig zeegaand schip die wordt gebruikt voor dagtochten en groepsuitjes. Zeilen met de Emmalis is een tocht terug in de tijd en heeft veel te bieden als het om een onvergetelijke ervaring gaat op een charterschip. Het schip heeft een eigentijds interieur, maar heeft de heerlijke nostalgische sfeer van vroeger behouden.  Er is in de afgelopen jaren veel in het schip geinvesteerd om haar in topconditie te houden. /"Gaia/" was originally designed and built as a deep-sea commercial trawler, launched in 1973 and operated as such until she was decommissioned and purchased by the current owners in 2001. Purchased as an empty hull with integral fuel tanks but without a deck, superstructure or machinery, allowed for a complete 100% refit to her current high specification which was completed in 2010. She was run as a commercial diving operation and for underwater vessel maintenance. She offers huge potential as a luxury liveaboard vessel or as a continuing dive vessel, either for a professional commercial operator or for dive charters. She could also be used for top-end charters or day charters or a multitude of other purposes. This is a turn-key vessel, well cared for, and is ready for any inspection. A rare opportunity to purchase in the southern Caribbean. Gaia is presently registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadians and was surveyed in 2020.
