We are currently seeking a highly skilled Procurement professional to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to oversee the entire procurement process, with a specialized focus on spacecraft components and sub-systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the company procures high-quality products for competitive prices within designated timelines. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining adherence to budgets and driving profitability through strategic procurement practices. Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with various departments including Technical, Sales, Finance, Program Management, Production, and Quality to streamline processes and optimize procurement strategies. D-Orbit is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to become part of the Project Technical Leadership (PLE) team. As a PLE, you will be accountable of all the technical project deliverables, technical management and team leadership. You will be part of the Engineering team, composed of multiple disciplines (AOCS, EE, mechanical, propulsion, thermal, software, etc.), and will lead them to achieve the project objectives including design and development, procurement coordination and assembly-integration-testing of flight-qualified spacecrafts, such as the ION Satellite Carrier Vehicle, and the design of new advanced missions. Your ultimate objective as a systems engineer is to ensure your systems, the spacecraft, will fly safely to orbit, deliver the services required by mission objectives and eventually successfully accomplish its disposal. Main Duties will consist of: - Single accountable of the technical project responsibilities, objectives, milestones and deliverables. - Coordinate other project team engineers, following and consolidating the end-to-end design and development cycle of the systems platforms, starting the requirements capture and consolidating requirements as development progresses, trade-off analysis, systems architecture and design definition, definition of the verification and test campaign, test plan and procedures, supervising execution of the tests on first prototypes and final requirements compliance assessment. - Liaise with the Program Manager to contribute with technical planning and management task. - Coordinate with the Procurement team to support in the procurement process of test and flight parts. - Coordinate with the manufacturing team and the AIV team for the definition of the test plan, procedures, setup and execution, monitor AIV progresses and maintain the requirement compliance matrix updated accordingly. - Interface with the Flight Operations team to support the definition of the detailed ConOps, mission timeline, operations plan definition and procedures, and provide active support during the first flight operations. Tasks and Responsibilities: - Technical responsible for the overall spacecraft or mission. - Actively contribute and monitor the development of systems architecture and subsystems design. - Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of specialists working on the systems and s/s design. - Systems and subsystems budgeting. - Requirements capturing & management from Stakeholder to equipment level. - AIV plan definition and execution with the support of the AIV team. - Support the systems test plan, procedures, and setup definition. - Authoring of Technical documents. Nello specifico, si occuperà principalmente di: • Ricercare, valutare, gestire e fidelizzare i fornitori locali, nazionali ed esteri, da un punto di vista tecnico-commerciale, assicurandone il controllo qualitativo; • Gestire contratti e ordini; • Analizzare gli aspetti tecnico-economici dei materiali/componenti/servizi da acquistare; • Collaborare con tutti gli stakeholder coinvolti nella gestione di lavori e hard services (i.e. realizzazione e/o manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria di impianti speciali, elettrici, meccanici, climatizzazione, idrici) Requisiti richiesti: Il/la candidato/a ideale ha maturato una solida esperienza nel medesimo ruolo, preferibilmente in ambito Facility Management, e ha acquisito: • Ottime conoscenze delle strategie e tecniche di sourcing fornitori e fidelizzazione degli stessi; • Buone conoscenze in ambito impiantistico e/o lavori; • Competenze nell'analisi di schede tecniche e lettura di capitolati; • Competenze consolidate nella gestione del budget di commessa in ambito Procurement; • Familiarità nella gestione delle attività attraverso i principali software (i.e. SAP; ORACLE; ERP); • Conoscenze e capacità di reporting di principali KPI di settore; • Buone conoscenze di contract management; Saranno considerati requisiti preferenziali • Conoscenza della disciplina relativa agli appalti pubblici e familiarità nella gestione di procedure afferenti affidamenti/subappalto; • Esperienza nella predisposizione e gestione dei contratti. Completano il profilo spiccate abilità comunicative, leadership, doti negoziali, ottime capacità di pianificazione ed organizzazione, orientamento al risultato.
