This North Coast 120’ is a spectacular yacht with an extensive refit that occurred in 2021-2022, taking over 12 months and close to $2M which has been invested in her.  She underwent a complete paint job, top to bottom, with 2 coats of Awlgrip Total Prime 545 and 3 topcoats of Awlcraft 2000 Snow White at the prestigious Roscioli Yachting Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL.While out of the water, all underwater components - thru-hull fittings, underwater gear stabilizers, bow thrusters, etc. - were serviced and maintained.  Additionally, prior to paint, all deck fittings, cleats and winches were removed, serviced and replaced after paint.  Extensive work was also performed on the custom hydraulic swim platform, fire system and other major systems which were updated or serviced.  A complete W6 was performed down to crank and bearings and a complete engine rebuild down to zero time by Marine Power in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The engine room also went through a major clean up, refit and all systems were gone through and operation checked and/or serviced.

This 27M ketch was custom built by Trehard shipyard in Antibes, France in 1984. The collapsible hydraulic keel allows it to access beaches and ports with very low depths of water. The yacht was refitted in 2004, 2008 and 2013. This involved a total reconstruction of the interior of the boat, maintaining the original layout. The first refit in 2004 included complete renovation of the engine room (including engine, generators, fittings, pumps, etc.), installation of the most modern navigation equipment, complete renovation of the electrical fittings and plumbing, renovation of the masts and rigging, cross-trees and boom, painting and caulking of the whole boat, restructuring of the stern deck, covering the steps to the transom door and gangway, full renovation of the interior with mahogany wood, completely replaced kitchen fittings and appliances. Further refits were undertaken in 2008 and 2013 and included 14mm Burmese teak added on to the whole deck, Rondal fitted hatches, modification of the cabin and bathtub by adding space for additional comfort, simplification of the deck movements, replacing winches and deck gear, sandblasting of the aluminium, caulking and painting, reviewing of cables, cross-trees and change of boom. The Nautor's Swan 82 FD /"Grey Goose/" has been built for two defined missions. One is a luxurious and short handed family cruising with performance but without any stress on deck. The second mission is competitive racing in all conditions inshore as well as offshore and even transatlantic racing. She is not a pure race boat even more. She demonstrates the natural Swan DNA by accomplishing both missions perfectly, being comfortable, seaworthy, and very fast. She has proven her outstanding performance in several racing events and numerous family holidays cruises. Even if she seems to be quite racing oriented in some aspects, Grey Goose has spent roughly 85% of the owners sailing time in Family Cruising mode. An extensive upgrade program of several hundred thousand Euros in Winter 2008 added a lot of value to the boat. Complete retrofit to Futures Fibres PBO standing rigging combined with fitting a carbon fibre head stay foil represents a total weight saving of 300kg out of the rig. Consequently, fitting a new high-performance racing T-keel designed by Frers brought down the centre of gravity and dramatically improved acceleration, pointing angles and slot keeping. The sail wardrobe is complete both for racing and for Cruising. Grey Goose is undoubtedly in outstanding mint conditions. Although many upgrades came out of racing needs most of them to enlarge, the fun factor in Cruising like minor pitching, fast acceleration, and direct steering. In the summer of 2012, Grey Goose underwent a second extensive refit. This included upgrading the standing rigging to Southern Spars EC6 continuous carbon rigging, painting the hull topsides and aft cockpit, upgrading to VSAT satellite communications, a new generator, as well as many other upgrades and improvements. Her owner has rigorously maintained grey Goose to keep pace with the numerous technological advancements in luxury yacht construction since her launch. This gives her a modern, contemporary feel, comparable to the latest generation of Swan yachts. In the winter/spring of 2016, a new Hall Spars high modulus carbon fibre mast (exact dimensions as her original mast) has been installed with four low profile spreaders, giving more strength and reducing weight by approx. Another 350 kg and use of halyards slots. EC6 standing rigging (2012) checked. The new mast has made a considerable improvement in upwind and overall performance. In September 2017, her mast was stepped down for the five-year service of the EC6 rigging and fully serviced. Winter period 2017/18; primary generator service (5000 hrs.) and 2/18 haul-out for new antifouling.

Details: The 46.10m 2009 yacht NADAN from the Burger Boat Company is offered for sale and despite transporting all who set foot aboard her back to the Art Deco era, she is a thoroughly modern yacht. With naval architecture by Bruce King Yacht Design and interior design by Ken Freivokh Design, NADAN yacht draws admiring glances everywhere she goes thanks to her elegant blue hull and white and teak deck spaces.
