Goats Head Soup è un album di studio dei Rolling Stones, il terzo in ordine cronologico tra quelli pubblicati per la loro etichetta, la Rolling Stones Records. Prodotto da Jimmy Miller, l'album fu pubblicato in Inghilterra il 31 agosto e in USA il 12 settembre del 1973. Raggiunse il numero 1 sia nella classifica inglese, sia in quella statunitense, rimanendovi rispettivamente per due e quattro settimane. Da molti conosciuto come "il disco di Angie", rappresenta l'approccio più morbido con la musica americana del periodo. L'album si basa infatti per lo più su ballate dai toni caldi pagando così la pesante, seppur parziale, mancanza di Keith Richards, la cui presenza avrebbe saputo dare maggior vigore al lavoro. La sua assenza, dovuta agli eccessi con l'eroina, ha lasciato grande spazio a Mick Taylor, chitarrista abilissimo soprattutto negli assoli, ma il cui stile ha dato ai brani toni piuttosto soft, deviando dal tipico repertorio rock-blues dei Rolling Stones. L'album è stato registrato in Giamaica, presso i Dynamic Sound Studios di Kingston. La fotografia di copertina è opera di David Bailey (Keith Richards non si presentò alle session fotografiche). La zuppa di testa di caprone (Goat's Head Soup, appunto) è una specialità giamaicana. Nel 1994 Goat's Head Soup è stato rimasterizzato e ripubblicato dalla Virgin Records.
