Per la prima volta Völkl incorpora la sciancratura 3D Radius nata per i suoi sci da freeride e all-mountain, come ad esempio il Kanjo o il Deacon, su quelli da sci-alpinismo. Questo design combina tre diversi raggi di curvatura, fluidamente collegati l’uno all’altro sull’intera lunghezza dello sci. Il comportamento in curva è così regolato dal raggio centrale dominante, in base all’angolo dello spigolo. Una costruzione idrorepellente senza cotone Fiber Seal a due strati previene la formazione dello zoccolo e permette alla pelle di foca di asciugarsi più in fretta.
