Who are we looking for? In order to enhance our teams we are looking for Senior Architect, with minimum 7 years of experience in this role within the Finance sectors. If you are able to demonstrate full autonomy in co-ordination and resource management with the ability to prepare estimates and organization of work tasks, if your aim is to professionally grow up in the IT consulting field, working in an international and multicultural environment, flexible, client and team working oriented, with the Customer and at the Customer's location. Youâ€(TM)ll also work with colleagues from across GFT Group to help our clients deliver breakthrough products, experiences, and businesses. You will be involved in leading agile implementation and transformation projects with our clients. We combine the latest open source technologies together with traditional Enterprise software products. Principal duties and responsibilities • Providing technical expertise by independently determining and developing approaches to solutions. • Developing new software engineering methods or processes, re-evaluating existing processes. • Writing high level design specs, unit test plans and/or integration test plans. • Analyzing and coding complex modules, defining data structures, and specifing test tools. • Understanding and adhering to cost/delivery/quality targets established during the program design phase. Nature of the tasks • Architecture and design of information systems. • Review of the architecture of existing systems • Development of component architecture and building blocks • Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture • Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers • Production of software architecture documents • Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the Customer • Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting. What we require from you: • Bachelorâ€(TM)s Degree in Informatics or Software Engineering • Fluent in both spoken and written English • In-depth knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, applications design, modelling tools • Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming languages, Enterprise Architecture, Relational DBMS • Knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus) • Experience in Service Bus Architecture, relational databases, web technologies, architecture and design of information systems, development of information systems, UML or CASE tools • Good redaction skills. • Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture and design About GFT GFT Technologies SE (GFT) is a business change and technology consultancy trusted by the worldâ€(TM)s leading financial services institutions to solve their most critical challenges.
