The Ballistic 4.8 is the newest member of the Ballistic RIB family.  The brief was to provide a RIB that can operated by a small crew but feel like a bigger boat when out on the water.  We have created a small RIB that is not afraid of going where the big RIBs go and do so in enough comfort that an enjoyable day out on the water is effortless. Her excellent stability and sea-keeping comes from the combination of a strong deep V-shaped hull and large tubes which only just skim the water. The Ballistic 4.8 RIB has capacity for five passengers, is simple to launch & recover and is very easy to tow behind most family cars. The 4.8M is very much at home whether being used a yacht tender for larger sailing boats, whisking you and the family to the beach and exploring coves and harbours or even a support boat. The RIB will happily tow wakeboarders, water skiers or inflatables providing hours of fun. The Ballistic RIB series were born to be reliable, comfortable and hardy boats.  Their robust build and simple helming make them a great platform for getting people on the water. Attractive wooden passenger motor sailer for day trips! Capacity: 77 passengers + 3 crew members! Minimal needed crew memebers: 2 (Captain + Mariner). Boat can navigate independently, only on the main engine, or only on the auxiliary engines. The boat can use sails as a drive help. Hull renewed in the last 10 years under the supervision of the Croatian registry of Ships, and all modifications performed under the documentation approved from the same registry. A real must see, ready to go! History/Construction: Built for the army in 1950 for army purposes. Hull built of oak, deck of pine wood. Precisely because of military purposes the hull is built very strongly with many additional reinforcements, ribs and paneling much thicker than usual for this size of boats. Originally, the ship had a heavy and bulky steam engine, which in construction required a specific form. For this reason, this boat has a much higher draft and full sides, which significantly contributes to the stability of the boat. 1997 Custom Built Passengers Ship ready to start a charter business; you can have a return on what you invest in a short time. Monohull passengers boat with a capacity of 150 pax and three crew members. You must consider that the boat has a certificate to navigate without a mechanic; it can navigate only with one skipper. Provided with two decks, the boat is newly renovated. All interiors have been checked and renewed this year, the hull has been recently painted in blue and fully tuned. In March 2022 a second generator was installed. You can enjoy its expansive decks, and its 32 underwater windows make it a different way to enjoy our coasts. In May 2022: The boat this week has gone dry and the blue has been painted well. One more generator has been installed since it has been requested by the Maritime Authority and this week a new sonar translator has been installed and a new VHF will also be installed. We are leaving it ready for the campaign and it is already working in Gandia.

Air Draft: 57’ to the top of the Aft Mast and can be reduced to 18-19’ with the pilothouse lowered and the 3rd deck broken down. Fuel Consumption: 55 gal per hour for fuel consumption average based on two main engines running at 1750 RPM’s and one generator on line.
