Ruolo relativamente junior, quindi un’ opportunità per qualcuno che ha già un minimo di esperienza e desidera apprendere in un’azienda internazionale in crescita come www.planetsmartcity.com o un profilo in transito di carriera che potrebbe comunque aggiungere valore al CV. Contratto a tempo determinato di ~8 mesi da marzo 2022. Responsibilities: • Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets • Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on Procurement processes and new projects and activities • Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organisation • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers. • Provide analysis on costs, new and existing, and review cost reduction activities • Prepare reports and updates as and when required • Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements • Adhere to any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff, and visitors • Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods • Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules • Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications • Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships • Ensure compliance to company guidelines, procurement policies and procedures and guidance during supplier negotiations and contracts award process • Conduct research for new components, services and suppliers • Compile data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation • Assess and evaluate suppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance • Claims management skills • Improvement of green, ethic and impact friendly procurement strategies Skills/competencies: • Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and suppliers • Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills • Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities • Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets • Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts the production, manufacture, and customer order fulfilment • Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations • Keen attention to detail and accuracy • Demonstrated abilities in ERP based systems such as ORACLE, SAP etc. • Demonstrated abilities in e-procurement tool

Leading the development and implementation of global and local category strategies in IT by addressing the relevant category's total spend and supplier base and considering all potential levers to reduce cost and drive improved performance including demand and specification management. Continuously reviewing the relevant supply market to understand best industry practice and ensure that Group is best positioned to maximise its business opportunities and minimise its business risk. Leading the identification and delivery of cost savings opportunities, prioritising and maintaining a pipeline of procurement initiatives within that category by working with key Group stakeholders and leveraging on best practices across different geographies. Leading global negotiations and supporting/supervising other negotiations managed by the local teams by providing category knowledge and where required setting negotiation targets and co-ordinating/representing Group input into local negotiations. By working with Group Legal teams ensuring that awarded agreements are correctly formalised with suppliers and that the contract is accurately registered in the relevant contract management system. Fully utilising Group's eProcurement tools and capability (e-RFPs, e-auctions, workflow management and reporting). When called upon running complex and high-value competitive sourcing competitions in end to end compliance with Group's procurement policy and processes. Leading and managing the appropriate commercial interface with a range of major global IT suppliers including tier 1 & 2 suppliers in accordance with Group's supplier management approach. Adopting a holistic commercial approach encompassing the entire spend/activity profile with the supplier including the leveraging of commitment controls to ensure compliance with contract and compliance with the supplier as a preferred source. Identifying the commercial benefit (e.g. cost reductions & process improvements) opportunities arising from those supplier relationships. Core responsibilities and work delivery for this new position are:- *Design projects, preparing and presenting design proposals using CAD and traditional methods. *Translate and convert hand drawings and sketches into CAD systems. *Produce design and Technical drawings/support. *Read, evaluate and interpret designs and drawings. *Ensure design/details conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards *Collaborate with the Build Teams on technical matters *Assist in the procurement of architectural building elements The applicant will possess aptitudes and skills that include:- *Degree or equivalent in an Architectural discipline *Revit & AutoCAD applications. *Proven awareness of statutory building procedures. *Dealing with site/construction problems, RFI’s etc. as they arise during construction phase *Ability to recognize improvement and meet deadlines. *Hard working team player with good management and communication skills. *Understanding of building processes, sequencing and associated interface detailing. *Good IT awareness with all Microsoft applications and the ability to grasp new software quickly. *Experience including ability linked to visualization with computer aided rendering and animation.
