Did I mention how great the neighborhood is?;) This little gem of a neighborhood (Le Cure) is home to a bustling open-air famers' market (open everyday except Sunday), and home to a very famous underpass where it is legal to spray paint, which means that you can see some of the best Florentine contemporary art there is, maybe even the next Florentine Banksy- who knows?!! This underpass is also known to hold art shows. This area also is very well connected to all of the major bus lines that can take you to the center, the train station, and beyond! (If you want to run away from city life and escape to the hills of Fiesole, take the bus 7, which is mere steps away from the apartment!) If you don't like buses, the center is only a 15-minute stroll or a 5-minute bike ride.
