RU33222 HOMOLOGATION PRE-COMPLIANCE ENGINEER IN ITALIA

For an automotive company, we are looking for a Homologation Pre-compliance Engineer. Main Tasks: •Starting from the new product range and contents, define the design guidelines for vehicles and components according to the EU and UNECE regulations in force in the target market at the SOP date •Define the homologation road map for the N1 vehicles in order to support the platform decision in introducing since the SOP date contents that could negatively affect the product life cycle (10 years time) •Define the compliance gaps on the existing vehicles and components and issue the impact and modification list to be submitted to the engineering team •Support the Chief Engineer in monitoring that the design activities are in line whit the issue compliance requirements and gaps •Issue the main frame of the homologation plan in cooperation whit the homologation Manager and the Chief engineer Report to: Chief Engineer Required competences: •Master degree in mechanical engineering (automotive specialization preferred) •Huge and proven experience in automotive industry (light commercial vehicle preferred) gained in complete development programs in OEM projects •Capability in working in autonomy and proactive basis •Capability in working in international team •EU and ENECE regulations knowledge, components and vehicle level •EU and ENECE regulation road map knowledge •Microsoft Office suite for reporting The resource will have to stay minimum 4/6 month in China. Compensation package and contractual level will be in line with candidate’s experience and competencies. Location: Milano / Torino.
